Rather than diagnosing issues that need to be solved,
psychoneurology
is a new approach to mental health that helps patients
develop skills and resources to live and thrive in today's
world.Psychoneurology unites ancient traditions
with modern science to pioneer this new paradigm in
healing and wellness. It is currently being developed by Dr.
Colbey Forman and doctoral students at
Barron
University.

"The best we can hope to
accomplish with psychopharmacological intervention is to hinder
the brain from performing the functions that it is attempting.
To date, no one in the field of allopathic, or other medical
endeavour, has ever managed to come up with a medication or
chemical that is able to actually educate or teach the brain to
do something new. Psychoneurology is an introduction of a new
set of processes where we actually educate the patient either
consciously or unconsciously to be able to use their brain and
nervous system much more effectively, so that they can create
completely new results."
